Works perfectly as intended and well made. The only potential drawback is dust collection will be slightly reduced.
Very good product. Just needed adjustment on left underside, and especially back towards the riving knife because the fabric dust shroud interfered, along with a minor protuberance. Fortunately MDF carves like butter. Great fit after that, leveled up well with adjusting screws.
A well made “must have” on this saw to close up that throat opening for safety, accuracy of parts and dust collection. Considering the time it would take to make one with leveling screws it was a “no brainer” to buy one here. I use my saw on jobsites in Florida, so it would be awesome if Toolcurve offered one of these made of plastic so when my saw gets rained on my insert doesn’t get ruined. Please offer a plastic one.
