Description

ToolCurve’s Ridgid no snag, non-swivel dust port replacement for Ridgid track saws. The weight of the vacuum hose causes the original Ridgid dust port to swivel into the downward position. The original dust port allows the vacuum hose to swivel down, which then allows the hose to catch on to your track or workpiece. Our improved design helps eliminate catches by angling the vacuum hose up and away from the user.

    This dust port connection is certainly an improvement over the original equipment manufactured (OEM) version that didn’t accept the brand’s own current versions of dust collection hoses. That said, I gave this item four stars as it struggled to maintain a consistent twist-lock connection. Solution: a bit of hot glue. It now maintains a much stronger connection while the saw is in operation. I do recommend it for anyone who has similar experience with the OEM connector.
