This one of those simple little things that greatly improve the track saw. Constantly I would have the power cord or the shop vac hose bind up on the end of the track as the saw moved along, and this keeps them in the channel and they slide over the end – no more getting caught. Definitely recommend adding this to your track saw.
This attached to my router with no issues. The set screw locks it on. The port for the vac hose fits my Festool hose perfectly. The angle of the dust collection makes all the difference compared to the others on the market that are set at 90 degrees.
