Great all around experience and product. The throat plate was well made and fit perfectly into the slot on my Milwaukee M18 Fuel 8 1/4in table saw. Just pop it in, make any minor adjustments to the little leveling screws, raise the blade slowly and slice in a zero clearance cut for more accurate and cleaner cuts. Very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend to others looking for zero clearance on their Milwaukee M18 Fuel 8 1/4in table saw throat plate! (Always make sure your saw is well set up before dropping in the plate and slicing your first cut) … meaning setting up a 90 degree blade to the table, miter slots, and fence!
This was a great zero clearance insert. I would buy again.
Exactly as described. It took some adjusting of the screws to get it flush with the table, but once that’s done it’s good to go. Functions just as I need it to. Very good quality and fit. I highly recommend this product
Fits perfectly in my Milwaukee saw.
When I first put the plate on my Milwaukee M18 table saw, I was nervous because they didn’t quite fit. But after literally 4-5 minutes of light sanding, not only did they fit, but they fit PERFECTLY. The original throat plate that comes with the saw is made a bit loose and there is a plastic locking mechanism to hold it in place. I was worried that without that, these new throat plates would not fit snugly.
Boy – was I wrong about that! They fit so well that they go in with a tap and come out with a gentle tug and don’t move at all. So there is absolutely no need for the locking mechanism. As for value, the Milwaukee zero clearance (plastic) plate is $60 on Amazon so not only are these ToolCurve products far better quality, but much less expensive as well. As well, Milwaukee doesn’t even make dado throat plates. I’ll be getting one ToolCurve dado plate for each of my common dada widths because it’s such a great value. GREAT product. I am a very happy camper!
