Description

Designed specifically for your Bosch Colt 1 HP router, this 6″ round plate provides a larger routing surface when more support is needed than the factory base provides. It helps keep the router flat and controlled when working near edges, across openings, or on narrow workpieces, while the clear acrylic keeps the bit and layout lines visible.

Selected Guide Bushing Ø1.2″ (30 mm) Takes standard Porter-Cable-style guide bushings and inlay kits. Clears bits up to 1″ with no bushing; with a bushing installed, the bushing’s inside diameter sets the largest bit.

Do your base plates fit any router, or do I need the one made for my model?

You need the plate made for your router. Every listing names the router it fits, and we make plates for Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Ridgid, Ryobi, Skil, Kreg, Kobalt, Craftsman, Wen, Flex, Hercules, Metabo, Avid Power and the OF 1010. Some brands have more than one listing (the Bosch Colt 1 HP, 1.25 HP and 18V trim routers each get their own 6″ plate, for example), so match the exact model in the title. If your router is not listed, contact us before ordering.

How far does the extended base plate reach past the bit?

120mm (about 4-3/4″) from the center of the cut line. The extended base plates for the Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid and Ryobi trim routers are replacement bases that add stability and support for trim work, and the extra surface contact suits round over and chamfer bits.
