Frequently Asked Questions

Should I order the 20mm or 3/4 in. version?

Go by the dog holes in your bench top. The 20mm versions are made for 20mm grids such as MFT/3 and Dash-Board tables, and the 3/4 in. versions are made for 3/4 in. grids such as the Kreg ACS. The square corner dog fences and hole button protectors come in both sizes and the bench dog holder stores either size of dog, while our aluminum bench dogs and the acrylic fence stop system are 20mm only.

What size are the 20mm Standard Bench Dogs and will they fit my table?

They are machined to 19.90mm diameter and held to +/- 0.02mm, so they seat in standard and custom 20mm holes without unnecessary movement or jamming, including Dash-Board and MFT/3 tables and other 20mm worktops. Each dog is 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC machined on a Swiss lathe, sandblasted and clear anodized, with M8x1.25 threading for clamping it securely to your worktop or attaching accessories, and the sides are free of grooves that could mar a workpiece. They come in 2-packs and 4-packs. If you are drilling your own top to match an MFT/3, the 20mm holes are 96mm on center.

Which clamp rack should I get, and how many clamps does each hold?

All three mount in the side t-track and hold quick clamps; pick by what else you want stored beside them.

  • Quick Clamp Holder – the drop-in rack alone, in 4-clamp or 6-clamp sizes.
  • Clamp Rack & Storage Tray – 6 quick clamps or screw clamps plus a tray for pencils and rulers.
  • Utility Rack – 6 quick clamps or screw clamps, the tray, and storage for up to 4 bench dogs.

All three are made for Dash-Board, Kreg ACS and MFT/3 profiles.
