Description

Designed specifically for the Makita 40v 2-1/4 HP cordless router, this 10″ square plate provides a larger routing surface when more support is needed than the factory base provides. It helps keep the router flat and controlled when working near edges, across openings, or on narrow workpieces, while the clear acrylic keeps the bit and layout lines visible.

Base Plate Opening Options

Guide Bushing — 1.2″ Opening

Designed for standard Porter-Cable-style guide bushings and inlay kits, this option is ideal for template routing, inlay work, and other guided cuts. The 1.2″ center opening provides clearance for router bits up to 1″ in diameter.

When a guide bushing is installed, maximum bit diameter is determined by the inside diameter of the selected guide bushing.

Wide Opening — 2.5″ Opening

Designed for larger-diameter router bits when a guide bushing is not needed. The 2.5″ center opening provides increased bit clearance while retaining the support and stability of the full-size acrylic base plate.

This option is not compatible with Porter-Cable-style guide bushings.
