Had to do a bit of light sanding to get it to fit into the pocket hole jig, but after that it worked extremely well. My drilling left almost no sawdust. A definite must if you use the pocket hole jig often.
Works but only snug when shoved on so the adapter is tight on the curve of the dust port. The ID of the tool end for the adapter should be a hair smaller.
Works great for the M18 Jigsaw dust collection. Would prefer for it to fit the OD of the Sander and not the ID so it wouldn’t be so long.
The item works well for my Makita sander and Festool CT15 dust extractor. I wish the attachment to the Makita sander was a little tighter. I’ve had it slip off a couple of times while in use.
The adapter does what it claims but the only part of the 36mm Festool hose that friction fits is the wider 1/4 inch closest to the hose. What this means is that any pull on the hose causes it to come apart from the adapter quite easily. In fairness, once you start the extractor the vacuum created holds the connection together better. I believe if the adapter was made slightly smaller on the 36mm end requiring slightly more force to press together the adapter would stay attached to the hose better. I still believe it is a good product. I just wish it had a tighter fit on the hose end. The quality is excellent and customer service is great.
