    I don’t have a guide rail. I bought these base plates so I would have a more stable surface than the small round plates that come with the router. Something to hold on to. Also I made my own out of ¼” polypropylene but they didn’t have a slippery surface. Nice glide across the wood! Very happy!

    As a 3D printed part the fit to the router and the track is very good. I would recommend clamping the track as the torque from the bit wants to move the track slightly.

    Purchased the Milwaukee M18 Router Guide Rail Adapter for the Festool Guide Rail. Fit and finish is better than expected. Slides smoothly on the guide rail with no issues.
