Description

Give your Metabo HPT 36V Plunge Router base a wider, more stable routing surface for smoother, more controlled cuts. Precision-cut from 3/8″ clear cast acrylic, this 10″ router base plate adds support while keeping the bit and layout lines visible.

Base Plate Opening Options

Guide Bushing — 1.2″ Opening

Designed for standard Porter-Cable-style guide bushings and inlay kits, this option is ideal for template routing, inlay work, and other guided cuts. The 1.2″ center opening provides clearance for router bits up to 1″ in diameter.

When a guide bushing is installed, maximum bit diameter is determined by the inside diameter of the selected guide bushing.

Wide Opening — 2″ Opening

Designed for larger-diameter router bits when a guide bushing is not needed. The 2″ center opening provides increased bit clearance while retaining the support and stability of the full-size acrylic base plate.

This option is not compatible with Porter-Cable-style guide bushings.

You need the plate made for your router. Every listing names the router it fits, and we make plates for Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Ridgid, Ryobi, Skil, Kreg, Kobalt, Craftsman, Wen, Flex, Hercules, Metabo, Avid Power and the OF 1010. Some brands have more than one listing (the Bosch Colt 1 HP, 1.25 HP and 18V trim routers each get their own 6″ plate, for example), so match the exact model in the title. If your router is not listed, contact us before ordering.

How far does the extended base plate reach past the bit?

120mm (about 4-3/4″) from the center of the cut line. The extended base plates for the Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid and Ryobi trim routers are replacement bases that add stability and support for trim work, and the extra surface contact suits round over and chamfer bits.
